Longtime Lectora user and advocate/sufferer. *Never* even heard of Lextensions until today.
Agree with Judy: so, so shortsighted of Trivantis. Additionally, I’m also of the same mind about Lectora’s development: they should just become the baddest HTML tool out there and let the chips fall where they may.
For all its foibles and uncertainties, I feel like that’s what Allen Interactions is trying to do with ZebraZapps (though perhaps focusing so much of being revolutionary and superior has cost them market time, but that’s business…).
Thanks for stopping by, Craig. I’ll let Judy respond in more detail about Lectora, but yeah, it’d be nice if there was some separation by a few tools, especially where HTML output and accessibility is concerned.
